Traditionally, the spring fire season begins sometime by mid-March. With this, the Stratford Fire Marshal’s Office would like to inform all residents that Fire Danger signs have been installed at all four Stratford firehouses and will notify residents of the current fire danger within the town of Stratford. Additionally, the current fire danger status will be added to the website homepage "Live Feed" and updated as conditions change.

Residents are asked to check the Fire Danger levels before kindling any recreational fires are started (fire pits, camp fires etc.)

The three action levels are as follows:

• Green (be careful

• Yellow (use caution)

• Red FIRE BAN
