The Office of Planning & Zoning oversees land-use for the Town of Stratford. In addition to the development and implementation of long-range town planning initiatives, the Office administers the receipt of applications for zoning compliance and guidance to various land-use boards and commissions. Th Office of Planning & Zoning is committed to the preservation of health, safety, quality of life and general welfare for the residents of Stratford.
We kindly ask everyone review the Planning & Zoning webpage or call the office prior to visiting Town Hall, as nearly all zoning records can be accessed on the Stratford Planning & Zoning website. We want to save you a trip!

All permitting is done online for your convenience! Please click here or use the link on the right side of this page titled "Online Permitting". Create a username and password and you are ready to get your project reviewed and approved without leaving your home or place of work! Other helpful links are on the right side of this page as well.

*Appointments must be made to drop off an application to one of the land-use boards/commissions or to have inquiries answered outside of the walk-in question time, so staff can ensure timely and complete information. Thank you!
