Do you know your numbers?

Since 2014, the Stratford Health Department has been offering “Know Your Numbers” (KYN) health screenings to residents.  The screenings provide residents the opportunity to obtain information about their health status and learn ways to reduce their risks for chronic diseases, such as heart disease and diabetes. In addition, Health Department staff works to link uninsured or under-insured residents with elevated numbers with access to affordable follow-up care.

Each February, in honor of American Heart Month, the Stratford Health Department hosts KYN screenings in different locations throughout town.

Know Your Numbers Screenings in February include:

• Blood Pressure

• Blood Sugar

• Body Mass Index (BMI)

We also offer Blood Pressure screenings at the Baldwin Center on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 9 am to 11 am and the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the South End Community Center from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
