34% of Stratford High School students report getting prescription medication would be easy and 15% feel it is OK to take someone else’s prescription medication for pain management (2018 Student Survey)

To reduce access to prescription medication and provide an environmentally friendly way to dispose of unused or expired medication, a medication drop box was installed at the Stratford Police Department Headquarters in October 2013. Over 5,000 pounds of medication has been collected and properly disposed.
