School Readiness Grant: The Stratford School Readiness and Child Care Advisory Council is making available a Local Request for Application to solicit Stratford licensed and center-based preschool programs interested in operating a School Readiness Program in Stratford, CT for the period July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. The purpose of the School Readiness Grant is to provide support in providing a quality preschool experience for early care and education programs who serve children ages 3-5. All School Readiness providers must be willing and able to comply with all legislated mandates. Proposals are being solicited pursuant to CT General Statutes Sec. 10-16o. – 10-16r and Sec. 10-16t. – 10-16u. CGS and amendments under PA 99-230, the School Readiness and Child Day Care Grant Program.
Programs interested in participating in the process must contact Suzanne Clement, Stratford School Readiness Liaison, on or before April 10th for the application and additional information. Completed applications must be submitted electronically as a PDF by April 26, 2024.
